1 Pushpin or Thumbtack

The Experiment

Stick the end of a match onto the point of the pushpin or thumbtack.

Find your pulse on your wrist.

Place the head of the pushpin on the place where you felt your pulse.

Hold your hand and arm perfectly still.

You will see the match move along with your pulse.
